Notices to the parish

A notice is written once, sent to the people it concerns, and kept in each person’s messages.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: Write the notice

    Parish office

    on Notices

The office writes the notice and can pin it so it stays first.

What the others see: Nothing is sent until the office says so.

  2. Step 2: Choose who it is for

    Parish office

    on Notices

Everyone, a group such as a prayer group or a ward, or a saved search.

What the others see: A reach preview shows how many people it will reach before it is sent.

  3. Step 3: The parish receives it

    Member

    on Phone app and Messages

Members receive it as a push notification on the phone app, and find it among their messages on the website.

What the others see: Quiet hours are kept in each member’s own time zone, so nobody is woken at night.

  4. Step 4: See what was sent

    Parish office

    on What we have sent

The office sees every notice, and who received it.

What the others see: Bulletins and documents are published under Publications, for the parish to read.

How it ends

The parish told once, in its own time, with a record of who received what.
